Embrace the power of touch…
“I pray give skill to my hands, clear vision to my mind, and kindness and meekness to my heart. Give me singleness of purpose, strength to lift up a part of the burden of my suffering from fellow men and a true realization of the privilege that is mine.” ~ Mother Teresa
We currently live in a very fast paced, hyper connected world. Many are overworked, underpaid and suffer from work related stress. We are so busy making a living, we forget to make a life. If we are willing to take a moment to listen, our bodies are the most amazing communication devices. Our bodies are aligned with the wisdom of our souls to show us those areas of our life that need to be healed. Sadly, many of us prefer to silence this wisdom by using painkillers, mood stabilizers, or enhancers, and other drugs that shut down its ability to communicate with us. The next time you are tempted to mask any painful symptoms, ask yourself, “What is my body trying to tell me? “What truth have I been hiding? “Where am I out of balance?” Allow me to get you to a space where you will begin to view the body as a delicate communication device that offers you the opportunity to treat your aches and pains as whispers of your deepest longings of your soul. Listen!!! I can get you back to a place of serenity and heartfelt connection with yourself and the world around you.
How we communicate defines how we perceive our world. For me the beauty of a person is how they communicate with their heart – through their word choice, their smile, easy laughter, and how they carry themselves. This reminds me to be mindful, to soften, lighten up and connect to everyone from a more playful place as well. Now more than ever, caring for yourself is NOT self indulgent. Caring for yourself is an act of survival.
A 2001 graduate of the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis, I have over a decade of professional experience, and offer a wide variety of Eastern/Western massage styles. I am highly intuitive and genuinely care about those individuals that seek me out for their bodywork.
I LOVE the massage profession for many reasons. I have the pleasure of meeting diverse, interesting individuals from all walks of life. It gratifies me to know my work causes me to touch lives, and that by these lives I too am touched. Some of the greatest teachers I have known have shown up on my massage table. My journey of massage, therefore, is one that takes into account the whole individual, body and soul.
A few of my clients were kind to agree to do a video testimonial of my business. Feel free to peruse the videos below, or read written testimonials.
